The legal action has now settled between the two parties and Mainstreet unequivocally apologizes for its disparaging remarks and acknowledges that the techniques and methods utilized by Illumina were, in fact, scientifically valid. The standards of professionalism and scientific rigour used by Illumina Research Partners meets or exceeds the highest National and International standards. Mainstreet regrets any damage to Illumina as a result of negative media coverage.
