Newfoundland and Labrador Election Polling - February 11, 2021
Andrew Furey’s Liberal Party has lost some steam since the last Mainstreet poll on January 11 but retains a comfortable margin over the Progressive Conservatives of 28%.
Among decided and leaning voters, the Liberals sit at 54% (-8% since January 11), the Progressive Conservatives at 26% (Unchanged), the NDP at 17% (+8%) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Alliance at 2% (+1%).
Among all regions, the incumbent Liberal Party still maintains comfortable leads in this round of polling across the province.
Mainstreet also asked how voters intended to cast their ballots. There has been a shift in those numbers since the previous round of polling as well.
40% of voters intend to vote in person on election day (-1% since January 11), yet the proportion of voters planning to vote in advance votes jumped to 40% as well (+12%).
Those casting their vote by mail make up 11% (-5%) and those still unsure made up the remaining 9% (-7%)
