Yukon Liberals Lead With High Undecided

Yukon Flag

February 3rd 2016 (Toronto, ON) – A new Mainstreet Research poll finds the Yukon Liberals leading though most of the territory, 61%, is undecided. The Mainstreet Poll has a margin of error of +/- 5.33%, 19 times out of 20.

“Despite the high undecided rate the Liberals are going in with the most support” said Quito Maggi, President of Mainstreet Research. “Among decided and leaning voters they are ahead by over 20%.”

“It is early days yet, but if the numbers continue to trend this way you would be looking at a Liberal government. The Yukon Party is in third with only 6% support – this is not great for the government. Only 8% of undecided voters are leaning as well.”

“All that being said, over half the territory doesn’t know yet which way they will vote so this is anybody’s race. No party can be written off yet,” he finished.
